Master of Healthcare Administration

This program will focus on building students into leaders in healthcare. Forty two course hours (17 courses) are required to complete the program and are offered online (there are two weekend residencies that require on campus work). Students entering this field can expect to work in hospitals, dependent and independent care facilities, and group medical practices.

Performance Enhancement and Coaching Concentration

The Performance Enhancement and Coaching (PEAC) concentration will allow students to develop the skills and competencies necessary for professional coaching. Coursework includes research, statistics, sports psychology, leadership, team building, performance coaching and performance enhancement.  Given that there will be a variety of applied and research experience with the option of doing a thesis, PEAC is an excellent stepping stone to a doctorate in Sport Psychology or related field.

Master of Public Health

Offered online, the generalist Master of Public Health (MPH) will prepare students for work in the field of public health. Based on public health priorities as described by Healthy People 2030, American Public Health Association, and World Health Organization, courses will foster awareness of existing inequities and disparities in students’ local communities and develop students’ skills and competencies to reduce inequities.

Master of Speech-Language Pathology

The Master of Speech-Language Pathology Program prepares students to prevent, diagnose, treat, and research communication disorders, and provide community service to individuals with communication disorders. The coursework covers communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan.  Clinical practicum is provided in both on-and-off campus locations. Speech-language pathology is a high-need area with career opportunities in medical and school settings.
